Kawana Star is a naturally talented jumper who is looking for an intermediate or better rider to shine with. The lightly raced 6yo Choistar x Lent mare is a strong mover who has already shown plenty of class and potential. She does need a confident rider to keep her calm but is improving with work. We think she will make a quality showjumper or eventer. Kawana Star is currently located at Belltrees.

His name conjures up images of a yokel but Cletus Brown is all class.  This 7yo big-moving chestnut has three quality paces, eye-catching looks and is showing talent over jumps. He is calm, trainable and thrives on work. Cletus is looking for a competition home with an intermediate or better rider who will keep him stimulated and continue his education. Standing at 17hh, he would make an ideal gentleman’s mount. Cletus is by Big Brown (USA) from Blue Mistral and is currently located at Oxley Island.

 

 

 

Night Manager is a 7yo 16.2hh Casino Prince x She’s Due gelding who is looking for an experienced showjumper or eventer to bring out his best. He can already jump 60-70cm with ease and has been a perfect gentleman on recent outings to Wingham Jump Club. While he is sweet-natured and easy to handle on the ground, he needs an experienced rider as he will pull it he knows you’re not confident. Night Manager is located at our Oxley Island farm.

Inafernanika. It’s Swedish for pocket rocket. Ok, that’s not true. We don’t know what Inafernanika actually means but we do know this 7yo Arlington x Lunalana mare has loads of potential. She stands at just 15.1hh, is athletic and has demonstrated impressive acceleration. She has been easy to train and has shown us some handy moves that suggest she would be well-suited to campdrafting. Inafernanika has been a pleasure to take on long trail rides and loves mustering cattle.  With most of the upcoming campdrafts cancelled due to Covid-19, now is the perfect time to start preparing her for next season.

Attention eventers! Are you looking for an athletic horse with incredible balance, a  smooth collected canter and perfect flying changes? Bob’s Cooltoo is your man! This 6yo Mosayter x Secret Dolphin stands at 15.2hh but don’t let his size worry you. He makes up for it with his natural jumping ability and a big heart. He retired sound after just two starts, having come last in both. Bob is quick to learn, eager to please and has consistently improved since beginning his retraining. He is currently located at Belltrees, NSW. Please note most of the photographs were taken in the rain.

On the track Go Garic was more woah Garic and as a result, he was retired after just six starts. It’s been almost a year since his last race and the now five-year-old Turffontein x Miss Columbus gelding is showing loads of potential for a new career. He is completely sound, has no scars or marks, nor has he displayed any vices. He stands at 16.1hh,  has a lovely temperament and would make a great trail riding or low-level eventing horse. Ideally, Go Garic’s new owner would be an intermediate or better rider to continue his education.

Introducing Mosrai, a 7yo Moshe x Raising High gelding who has a bright future as a sport horse. Standing at 15.3hh, he is strong and athletic with a smooth, flowing action. Mosrai notched three wins and four places before he lost his mojo for racing and retired sound in December 2019. He had a good spell before beginning retraining and has easily completed every task set for him. He is calm, willing, shown plenty of natural talent over jumps and is going to make his new owner very happy. Mosrai is currently located at Belltrees near Scone.

Sculptures is a regally-bred gentleman who retired sound from racing in early May and is now looking for his next challenge. The 9yo Exceed And Excel x Chandelier gelding stands at 15.3hh and has proven himself to be a relaxed and willing horse. He’s a pleasure to take on trail rides and has jumped up to 70cm. With Fusaichi Pegasus as his dam’s sire, he should jump a whole lot higher than that with the right training. Sculptures could turn his hoof to any equestrian discipline and we think he would make an ideal Interschools horse. Sculptures is currently located at Muswellbrook. Get in touch to find out more.

Loco Express is an unraced 4yo filly who didn’t quite live up to her name – she’s more of an all stops service than an express. While this 15.2hh sweetheart never made it to the track, she is ready to make her new owner smile from ear to ear. Loco Express retired sound with no injuries or scars. She has no vices, is easy to catch and handle and is ready for her next challenge in any equestrian discipline. She has been taken on trail rides and behaved sensibly and has also been put over some small jumps. Due to her age, Loco Express will need an intermediate or better rider to continue her education. Lexie, as we have nicknamed her, is currently located at Beltrees.

 

When our Oxley Island Farm Manager, Mal Fitzgerald, identifies a horse with potential we all take note and he’s declared 5yo Niagara x Miss Prickle gelding Aeecee Delighted the pick of the current herd. AC/DC, as he is affectionately known, stands at 16.2hh and is an absolute gentleman in every way. He has a quiet and sweet temperament, travels well and is easy to catch and handle. He would suit a range of equestrian disciplines from low-level showjumping to trail riding. He did retire from racing with a low-grade tendon strain which has now healed but is unlikely to stand up to the demands of high-level competition.
