Gumball

Gumball is a stunning, leggy chestnut with bling.  A striking character who is captivating to watch standing over 17hh.  Gumball has shown some talent free jumping with a good back end, but needs a knowledgeable handler and calm rider as he gains confidence from his leader. Gumball has not demonstrated any vices under saddle. Gumball has had a previous tendon injury so he may not be suited to  high level jumping. Video available on request.

Charming Charlie

This fellow is as charming as his name would suggest, with a kind and quiet nature he could turn his hoof to just about anything. We think he might make a nice eventer, he has the paces for dressage, boldness for cross country and the carefulness for the showjumping phase.

Charlie has more whoa than go, and given he is still green, requires an intermediate rider to get the best out of him. Video available on request.

Delectation

“Del Boy” has given his all on the track and deserves a home where he will be loved. He didn’t get to be a great racehorse without a bit of attitude and grit and although most of the time he has a laid back way of going, he can occasionally challenge his rider.  He needs a jockey confident enough to overcome some bumps in the road.

He is flashy enough to be a hack, perfect for the OTT classes with his expressive trot and smooth canter.  An old ligament injury may prevent him from being a high level jumper, but he should be able to jump around some smaller classes or  happily just plod along on a loose rein on a trail.

Ozeki

Ozeki is a very popular horse in our program, attractive, lovely movement and a friendly lap dog nature. He would be equally at home on the dressage or eventing stage.

Ozeki travels very well, is great on trails and is currently in training for a charity ride supporting Paralympian, Sue Ellen Lovett and her “Ride Against Cancer”. He is available for sale on conclusion of the ride on 21 October 2018.

Waxworks

Waxworks is a quiet, friendly, athletic and muscular mare who is more like a quarter horse in appearance and temperament. She channels a western pleasure vibe to us, a comfy ride and a great doer.

Waxworks has not been measured yet, but is under 16hh by our estimate.

Spilsbury

A great type with warmblood movement, royal show quality as he takes after his handsome sire, Medaglia d’Oro  If you ride him, you will buy him as he is very talented under saddle.

Spilsbury is also very sensible on trails and is currently in training for a charity ride supporting Paralympian, Sue Ellen Lovett and her “Ride Against Cancer”. Spilsbury is available for sale on conclusion of the ride on 21 October 2018.

Go Dragon

This guy is a sweet natured, trainable and compliant horse with lovely paces.  Great natural rhythm and tempo and easy to get into a frame. As a testament to his temperament, Go Dragon is currently in training for a charity ride supporting Paralympian, Sue Ellen Lovett and her “Ride Against Cancer”.

Go Dragon will be available for sale on conclusion of the ride on 21 October 2018.

The videos are from several months ago when he first commenced training under saddle, he has moved ahead in leaps and bounds since.

The Fencer

Nicknamed “Fabio” by the team for his luscious locks and looks this fellow is well put together and solid.  He is also an exceptional mover with a beautiful floating trot.  The Fencer took to free jumping like a pro, happily popping over 95cm on his first session, so he ticks a lot of boxes! I can see him making a super eventer.

The Fencer is currently in training for a charity ride supporting Paralympian, Sue Ellen Lovett and her “Ride Against Cancer”.The Fencer is available for sale on conclusion of the ride on 21 October 2018.  The Fencer is on the far right in the below photo.

My Jewel

This lovely 6yo, unraced mare loves to be fussed over.  She is a supermodel,  with a broad forehead and dishy face, a gorgeous caramel bay with rich black mane and tail.  My Jewel has proven to be a quick learner and quiet and compliant horse in her ground work and commencing under saddle.  She has been on several trail rides (alone and with others) where she encountered kangaroos, flapping plastic, birds and snakes and took it all in her stride. She is not a marey mare, she tends to be submissive to other horses. This lady is a great doer, and loves her food, dancing enthusiastically along the fence line in anticipation.  With more miles she is suited to a novice rider but to date has proven herself to be very reliable slowing down off seat and voice commands. My Jewel has a lovely rhythmic trot, but is probably not the most athletic horse on earth! Great potential in the show ring or as a pleasure horse and a delight to have around.
