Scherzare is an Italian word meaning “to joke” but we are dead serious when we say this 5yo All Too Hard x Tartufi gelding has plenty of potential. He has three quality paces established, is jumping 80cm and is working on some basic leg yielding. He stands at 16.2hh, is solidly built and is a complete pleasure to have around. Scherzare would suit an intermediate rider and is currently located at Muswellbrook.

You know how you sometimes meet a person and their name just does not suit them? That’s Seething Drake. For starters, he’s not a duck and he’s certainly not angry. He’s actually 15.2hh of sweetness, easy to handle and a pleasure to have around. Seething Drake is a 9yo Henrythenavigator x Seething Duck gelding who would make a great all-rounder. He carries himself well in flatwork and has shown talent over jumps. He would also be an ideal Pony Club mount for a confident teenage rider. Seething Drake is located at our Oxley Island farm.

Imagine waking up to this gorgeous face over your back fence every morning! 9yo gelding Irish Optimism is looking for his forever home as a companion horse. Degenerative changes in his legs mean he is unsuitable for riding, but he will catch you in the paddock, lick your face and shower you in endless love. Irish Optimism is easily to handle and travels well on both trucks and floats. He is currently located at Muswellbrook. Is there room in your paddock and heart?

Inferred is a 10yo 16hh Onemorenomore gelding who is ready to begin his new career in dressage or showing with an intermediate rider. Despite being from mare Subtle Miss who had already produced stakes winners, Inferred wasn’t cut out for racing and was retired after just one trial. He is sound, naturally gets himself into a frame and has a lovely soft mouth. He is a pleasure to ride but can be lazy at times.

Show him on Saturday, trail ride him on Sunday! Bobby Dazzler is the ideal horse for an intermediate rider whose priority is enjoyment. This 5yo 15.2hh Choisir x Legally Blonde gelding is as cool as he is handsome. He’s friendly, relaxed and a pleasure to have around. Bobby Dazzler has been off the track since July 2020 and is currently located at Belltrees.

Bigger and better. That’s Kentucky Dubleo’s motto. This 7yo Dubleo x George’s Hiccup gelding is a balanced and athletic horse who loves to jump. We took him to Scone Jump Club over the weekend where he flew over 70cms with ease and wanted to keep going. KD stands at 15.3hh and is ideally suited to an experienced rider who can help him reach his potential. He’s located at Belltrees.

Introducing handsome Dubleo x Lunalana gelding, Moonlight Spy. He’s eight years old, stands at 16.1hh and is ready to become an intermediate rider’s dream allrounder. He catches you in the paddock, is easy to handle and has no vices. He’s shown plenty of scope over jumps,  enjoys being out on trail rides with other horses and is eager to please. Moonlight Spy is located at our Capertee farm, Bandanora. 6yo Roman Emperor x Wester Skeld (USA) gelding Boysenberry has the makings of a top eventer, all wrapped up in a handsome 17hh package. He’s uphill, athletic and has quality paces. He’s only recently started his education under saddle after retiring from racing in November last year, but is already showing talent in dressage, acing cavaletti work and jumping logs while out hacking. Boysenberry can get anxious so he will need an experienced rider to guide and reassure him but once you win his trust he will reward you with his best. Boysenberry is currently located at Muswellbrook.

Broadlea is a 15.2hh Arena (grand sire is Danehill) x Soft Angel mare who is ready to excel in any discipline. She retired sound from racing in May and has a basic education including three quality paces. Now aged six, she is happy to be ridden out in company or alone and has a good attitude towards work. An intermediate or better rider will have a lot of fun with her.

Potential plus! That’s Little Burra in a perfect 15.1hh package. This unraced Dubleo x Duckin’ Daisies gelding is only 4 years old but he has a great temperament and smooth, correct movement. He tries his best at everything we throw at him and would make a smart all-rounder for an intermediate to experienced rider.
