Our History
NSWTRB Training Ltd commenced the delivery and assessment of training in 2004. Prior to that the company started delivery as the AJC Group Training Company in 1996.
From the beginning it gradually increased its student enrolments and staff expertise. It’s staff and management has continued to deliver training from January 2010 to June 2019 on secondment to the Racing NSW/TAFE WSI Richmond Training Partnership – known as AREA – Australian Racing Equine Academy) which expired on June 30, 2019.
NSW TRB Training Limited has been re-launched as Team Thoroughbred NSW Training Academy and became a Registered RTO, effectively from November 27th 2019. We are ready to re-commence delivering high quality training and education that is essential to the safety and welfare of the NSW Racing Industry.
